That’s me with my beautiful fiance. A little about me. I’m a computer geek. Kinda. Not that hard core though. I like reading about technology and thinking about all the cool things the future has in store for us. I’m also a big fan of the NBA, with the Toronto Raptors being my team. Hobbies? I like video games. Haven’t really played much lately though since Canaan came along. It’s all good though. He is awesome. Playing with him and seeing him laugh and smile beats playing the latest and greatest RPG.
I’m excited to marry Tram. She is my lady and the love of my life. I would do anything for her. I believe love is a journey, not a destination. I am committed and dedicated to her and I’m excited to express my love and commitment to her on our big day.
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada

Any monetary gifts that we receive, we will be donating a portion of it to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Canada. These two types of cancers have really affected our family in a very personal way. If it weren’t for this organization our family wouldn’t be in the situation we are in today.
In 2007 Tram developed a chronic cough that lasted for an extended period of time. After several tests by several doctors, she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She underwent 7 months of treatment which included chemotherapy and radiation. It was a very tough time for her but we are now proud to say that Tram has been cancer free for over 4 years.
As much of a surprise as the announcement of Canaan was, the dark firm blue spots that started to appear on his face and all over his body at about 3 weeks old really caught us off guard. After 2 weeks of tests, Canaan was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The diagnosis broke our hearts. The doctors gave Canaan a 25-30% chance of surviving and beating this cancer. After 1 month of treatment, our little guy achieved remission. 5 months after achieving remission, he finished his treatment and the cancer has not come back.
