Hello! So a little about me. Right now I spend my days as a stay at home mom, creeping on Facebook, adding pins on Pinterest, getting people to play with me on Draw Something (don’t be shy, play with me please), but the best thing? Taking care of the most wonderful baby boy anyone could ever ask for! Phew, its tiring. It’s true what they say about how much work a stay at home mom does. Since moving away from home, I’ve also learned to cook, and I have to admit, i’m pretty darn good! Yup i’m quite the cook, except for this one dish I made, but Jonas assured me that it was amazing… I’m pretty sure he was lying though, so he wouldn’t hurt my feelings but that’s why I love him!
Anyways I love animals, taking care of the environment and anything that has to do with art and design. Like Jonas always says, I’m the creative thinker and he’s the analytical thinker. I think that’s how we were able to make this website, he did all the computer work and I told him where everything goes and what it should look like. We are perfect for each other. He’s the best, I can’t wait to marry him!
Frank “Chico” Nuguid, Groomsman

What can I say about my boy Cheex?? He’s one of the funniest guys I know. From all my groomsmen, Chico is one of the ones I’ve known the longest (tied with Roy). Back in T-dot, I very much enjoyed and appreciated our convos. From deep and serious to just plain old silly. He’s one of the guys I could count on to have a down to earth and honest exchange of ideas and thoughts. I miss you man. Can’t wait to hang out this summer. Just don’t fall asleep in front of the computer while surfing the web
Beamer’s Coffee Bar

Anytime Tram and I go to Canmore we always stop by this coffee bar. They have some pretty darn good coffee I tellz ya. But our most favorite thing to get here is the Matcha Ice Frap. It’s the yummiest green tea/matcha frap you’ll ever taste (in our humble opinion). Better than the one in Starbucks. Yah, I said it. Make sure to stop by this fine establishment while you’re in Canmore.
Miguel Joseph Javier, Best Man

This is my younger bro. He’s a cool guy. I’ve seen him grow up and become the great inspiring guy he is today. He went to school for graphic design and got a pretty good job but recently resigned to pursue his passion in mission work. He is currently employed by the Catholic Community that Tram and I met in. He just came back from the Philippines for training. He now resides in British Colombia. Most of his work will be done there but I know he’ll be travelling across Canada and maybe the US to help inspire youth in becoming more aware in their spirituality. I’m very excited for him and everything that will happen for him the next couple years. I know he will do an awesome job!
Moraine Lake

Moraine Lake is one of our favorite sites to visit in the Banff National Park area. The view is simply breathtaking. Totally worth the extra 30min drive from Banff. Go check it out, you won’t regret it!
Did you also know that these scenic mountains were once on the old 20 dollar bill? Cooool
Love Story
1
I would never would’ve met Tram if it weren’t for a youth group that she and I were in. I was from Toronto, she was from Calgary. In 2005, our youth group had a national conference at the UofC in Calgary. We didn’t actually meet at this conference nor did we meet after the conference.
After the conference a bunch of youths from our group hung out at Chinook mall. Behind the info booth where the T-Rex skeleton stands is where I first laid eyes on her. I had a camcorder in-hand which I creepily used 4x optical zoom to get a better look. Hehe. Her cuteness overwhelmed my senses. I started asking my friends if they knew her and if they knew her name. They told me her name was “Tram Tran”. I’ll admit, I giggled when I heard her name. But a name like that only amplified the cuteness that I saw in her. We were all by that T-Rex skeleton because we were all trying to figure out where to go afterwards. I made it a point to go wherever this Tram Tran was going.
We decided on a steakhouse called “Smuggler’s Inn”. Unfortunately, due to the order that everyone arrived, we both ended up sitting at opposite sides of a very long table (thank God 4x optical zoom, lol). It was a fun time, but little did anyone know that all I wanted to do was meet her. I wanted to hear her voice and make her laugh. As we all made our way out of the restaurant I thought to myself, “nice, this is my chance!”. But much to my disappointment, her ride was waiting for her outside asking her to hurry out. She made a quick dash out of the restaurant with her head down and without saying bye to almost everyone. I found it odd that she did this but for some odd reason I thought it was super cute, and the mystery of her would linger in my heart.
Mackay’s Ice Cream

While in Cochrane we highly recommend all our guests to check out their famous hand made MacKay’s ice cream! It’s the smoothest and creamiest ice cream you’ll ever taste! With dozens of flavours anyone who goes should find something they like. We recently checked it out and our personal faves are Pistachio Almond and Watermelon Lime Cooler.

Time: 7:30pm
Where: The Grande Rockies Resort
Address: 901 Mountain Street, Canmore, AB T1W 0C9
Our reception will be quite different form the typical reception. We have chosen the Grande Rockies Resort as the location to celebrate. It will be a cocktail/hors d’oeurves only (no sit down dinner). We want our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed. Prior to attending, you may want to go for a small dinner, but rest assured that we will provide a good amount of hors d’oeuvres for everyone. Just keep in mind that it won’t be a buffet!
